General
What is FreightFloo?
FreightFloo is a reverse-auction shipping marketplace. Shippers post what they need moved, verified carriers bid to win the job, and partners earn when their customers ship through the platform.
Is FreightFloo a broker?
No. FreightFloo is a technology platform. We connect shippers, carriers and partners and provide secure payments, notifications and tools. Carriers handle the actual transportation.
Where does FreightFloo operate?
FreightFloo is designed primarily for shipments within the United States, but carriers can list their own service areas and lanes.
How do I contact support?
You can reach us at support@freightfloo.com. For shipment-specific issues, it's best to also keep messages inside FreightFloo chat so everything is in one place.
Shippers
How much does it cost to use FreightFloo as a shipper?
It's free to create an account and post shipments. You pay only when you accept a carrier's bid and book the shipment through our secure checkout.
How do I choose a carrier?
You'll see each carrier's bid, profile, lanes and verification status. You can compare price, experience, rating (when available) and badges before making a decision.
When is my payment processed?
Your payment is processed when you confirm a carrier and complete the Stripe checkout. We then notify the carrier and update your shipment status to Paid.
Carriers
Do I have to pay to see jobs?
No. Creating a carrier account and browsing available shipments is free. You only pay a small platform fee when you win a job and the shipper pays through FreightFloo.
How do platform fees work for carriers?
FreightFloo charges a percentage of the winning bid as a platform fee. You start at 10% and can lower this to as little as 5% through the Carrier Tier Program by referring other carriers and owner-operators.
What is the Carrier Tier Program?
Every referral that signs up and onboards as a carrier through your link counts toward your annual tier. More referrals mean lower fees. See the full breakdown on the Carrier Tier Program page.
Partners
Who can become a partner?
Auto dealers, boat dealers, equipment sellers, auction platforms and marketplaces β anyone who needs to offer shipping to their customers can become a partner.
How do partner earnings work?
Each shipment that starts through your referral link shares a portion of FreightFloo's service fees with you. You can track referred shipments and earnings from your partner dashboard.
How often are payouts processed?
Partner earnings are aggregated and paid out on a regular schedule (for example monthly), once shipments are completed and cleared. You'll receive emails and dashboard notifications when payouts are ready.
